Coaltar of the Deepers

The End of Summer

From the album "No Thank You"

For us, this summer is
Kono natsu ga bokutachi ni totte

Probably the last one, but...
Saigo no natsu ni naru no darou ga...

Unable to see the fall leaves...
Kouyou mo mirezu jimai de...

We were supposed to go this year...
Kotoshi wa iku hazu datta no ni...

Two of us float in a sea of blood
Chi no umi ni futari ga ukabi

Look up to the heavens and hold each other's hand
Sora o aoide te o tsunaide

Close our eyes and pray.
Me o tojite shizuka ni inoru yo

In this beautiful world,
Utuskushii kono sekai ni

The fact that there is a tomorrow
Ashita ga aru koto o

The silent and soft light
Seijyaku to yawaraka na hikari wa

Wraps around us both, and leads us into the future
Futari o tsutsumi, mirai e michibiku

The end of summer
