Opened in 1977, F.X. McRory's is a "Steak, Chop, an Oyster House" in Pioneer Square. The clock was built in Seattle by Mayer Bros, but hails from Alaska. It was brought back to Seattle by a private collector. F.X. McRory's was finally able to purchase the clock from the collector and had it restored by Jerry Martin. This is the clock referred to in the Landmark Nomination as being dismembered in an owner's backyard.
